Predicted Suitable Habitat for Astragalus scaphoides in Montana

Purpose:
Model outputs may be useful for identifying and prioritizing potential survey areas, assisting in species' management and conservation planning efforts as well as in other natural resource related uses.

Supplemental information:
Predicted suitable habitat was computed using MaxEnt ver 3.2.19 with various statewide grids (90 x 90 meter pixels) of biotic and abiotic parameters and observation data from MTNHP databases.  Detailed metadata concerning the modeling parameters, inputs and post-processing can be found in the associated metadata files.

Ascii output from MaxEnt converted to a 90 meter raster, classified and suitability cutoffs established.  Raster is reclassified, the projection defined, a colormap added and converted to a georeferenced png.
